No one can say building this house is a time-consuming affair. This fully functional house that comes as a flat pack that can be unfolded and assembled it in six hours.

The video (above), put out by M.A.Di Home to showcase its product shows how to build one’s own “A-frame” house. All it needs is level ground.

And moving house is easy – just fold it back, transport it to a new location, and re-assemble it.

The innovative design comes from Italian architect Renato Vidal, and is available in five sizes ranging from single to triple module. Additional elements include earthquake resistance, ready-to-connect to electricity and water mains, eco-friendly elements, kitchen and bathroom facilities, a staircase leading to a mezzanine living area, central air-conditioning, LED lighting and rainwater systems.

But will we ever get these in India?
