Among those who felt the impact of the earthquake of magnitude 7.3 on the Richter Scale that struck the border between Iraq and Iran, killing at least 450 people, was the Kurdish channel Rudaw TV.

A live interview was being aired by the channel, which is based in the city of Erbil in Iraq, was conducting a live interview with a guest in the city of Sulaimaniya when the tremors began suddenly. The guest immediately abandoned the interview.

The anchor, on the other hand, made an orderly exit only after he explained to the viewers what was happening. Even though the entire set was shaking, he told viewers: “The earthquake is strong, so for our safety, we are going to go outside. Thank you very much.”
