Following the death of legendary American guitarist Tom Petty after a cardiac arrest, rugby fans in his hometown, Gainesville, Florida, came together for an incredible tribute. In the video (above) captured during a college rugby match between Florida Gators and the LSU Tigers, the 90,000-strong crowd burst into an impromptu rendition of Petty’s iconic song Won’t Back Down.

The magic happened at the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, at the end of the third quarter and before the beginning of the fourth quarter during the game. Even fans of the opposing team joined in to sing the classic tune. The video went viral on social media, and many even suggested that this should be done every week.
