Andy Hoo is a bird and animal enthusiast from Indonesia who, judging from his YouTube channel and Instagram account, has been breeding and taking care of all sorts of creatures.

One of these, though, seems more special than the rest – a hyacinth macaw, whom he calls KV 07. He took a video of KV 07 every single day, right from the moment the bird still lay inside the egg, till the day it took its first full flight. In the process, Hoo recorded every important step in the macaw’s life.

The video documents the macaw cracking open the shell, opening its eyes for the first time, learning to stand up, looking at its loving owner for the first time... Hoo trains his bird to walk, takes it outside for the first time, teaches it how to perch and eat, and, finally, gets it to fly. And the macaw is transformed into a stunning, beautiful creature

Hoo has made a similar video (below), as he documented the growth of a baby toco toucan bird under his care.
