Wikileaks founder Julian Assange had a lot to say in an interview with Australian journalist John Pilger which was released on November 5.

The whistle-blower shared his views on a number of subjects – from Hillary Clinton’s emails and Donald Trump’s chances of winning to adapting to life inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London where he has been living as a political refugee for over four years.

Assange faces immediate arrest and possible extradition to the US if he leaves the embassy at any point. He said he doesn’t even remember what sunshine looks like and the best and worst thing about human beings is their ability to adapt.

When asked what the message lurking behind WikiLeaks’s decision to release so many emails from Hillary Clinton (more than 33,000) which could have given Trump an advantage in the election and contribute to his win, Assange had said, “My answer is that Trump would not be permitted to win. Why do I say that? Because he’s had every establishment off side; Trump doesn’t have one establishment – maybe with the exception of the evangelicals, if you can call them an establishment – but banks, intelligence [agencies], arms companies…big foreign money…are all united behind Hillary Clinton, and the media as well, media owners and even journalists themselves.”

He was also asked in the interview whether he found himself veering closer to Trump or to Clinton. His response? He said that Trump, for a lot of Americans and Europeans, ‘’represents American white trash’’ and there was a fear associated with being seen supporting the people who turned up at his rallies.
