This sparked a frenzy on the internet in China, quantifiable to 124,000 retweets, according to The Wall Street Journal. It doesn't stop at that: citizens are now smashing their iPhones and boycotting mangoes from the Philippines, according to Chinese lifestyle weblog Shangaiist.
