Be scared, England. Be very scared. Because six years after the scandal that overshadowed his entire life, Mohammad Amir is coming back to where it all started. And it looks he's in the mood for some unfinished business.

Pakistan just landed in England to kick off a long tour of the country. And in their first tour match, against Somerset which started on Monday, Amir was given the new ball. It must have been a humbling moment for the 24-year-old – he had just made a comeback to the national team after serving a ban for spot-fixing during Pakistan's tour of England in 2010 and was returning to the scene of his transgressions.

But if Amir was affected, he didn't show it. Look at those two beauties and admire the insane amount of swing Amir got to dismiss former England opener Marcus Trescothick and Adam Hose.

Of course, it wasn't a one man show: Somerset were shot out for 128 as Sohail Khan took three wickets, while Rahat Ali and Yasir Shah chipped in with two each. But with all eyes on Amir, he produced the best of the lot – ripping through skipper Peter Trego's defences and taking out the middle stump for his third.

Amir, along with then teammates Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif were part of a harrowing scandal six years ago that shook cricket, when it emerged that that they had indulged in spot-fixing.

But it is also worth remembering how good a bowler, the-then 18-year-old Amir was. He finished the four-Test series as Pakistan's highest wicket-taker, with 19 wickets and took two five-wicket hauls. Here's his demolition of England in the last Test where he finished with figures of 6/84 – and Pakistan will hope that more of this will come from him.
