Suddenly, there seem to be more robots in real life than in science fiction books and movies.

There's the origami robot you can eat, so that it can unfold itself to work inside your stomach. There's a pet robot dog that can do your dishes. There's even a drinking robot to keep you company. The list is quite open-ended.

But here's someone who could potentially take over the world and destroy all humanity (according to some). Pillo the robot is described by its makers as "Your Personal Home Health Robot". It claims to keep track of all your movements and health requirements and even pops out the right pills at the right time.

It actually smiles, and the eyes are surprisingly lifelike. There's even a point of view sequence in the video above that looks like something out of the Terminator movies. let's hope this cute-looking robot won't go the way of Skynet's machines.

In 2014, there was a similar product. Sense's Mother. The reviewer in the video below says, "creepy branding aside, it's actually a great home automation kit". But only for those who want a nagging robot busybody in the safe comfort of their homes.
