Have you ever wished you could give your mobile phone a bath?

After all, the Internet is full of warnings about how your phone is covered in more germs than a toilet seat. So a cursory wipe will not get rid of the really dirty things on your phone.

The ad above is for Kyocera's new Digno Rafre, which is being pitched as the world's first soap-proof phone. The phone can be put in the kitchen sink or even in a bathtub too. You can use real hot water, up to 43 degrees Celsius, without hurting it.

Most important, it comes with its own rubber-duck-shaped kickstand to hold it up.

"Our development team washed the smartphone more than 700 times to test its durability," a company spokesperson told AFP.

The Rafre's touch panel is said to work even when wet. It is shock proof and has a "scratch-healing" finish along with bone-conducting technology that provides audio without a speaker, The Verge reported.

The phone will released in Japan on December 11. But we need it here in India yesterday.
