The Late Show on Monday featured US President Barack Obama consulting a moustachioed Stephen Colbert as they discussed the soon to be ex-President’s new job prospects. Obama is slated to exit from the White House soon.

Playing the role of an office manager named Randy, a critical Colbert looks at Obama’s resumé carefully while offering unique insights. He wondered why there was an obvious lack of promotion in Obama’s career graph for the last eight years.

“Honestly, there wasn't a lot of room for advancement in my last job,” Obama explains. "The only one with a more powerful position was my wife.”

When Obama’s done listing his accomplishments, such as working on US-Cuba relations and Obamacare, Randy suggests it would be a wiser move to stick to “proficient in Microsoft Office”.

On his part, Obama shares his preference for a corner office, or “at least an office that has corners in it”, when Colbert wonders what he was looking for in his new office.
