Watch eight lions out for a casual stroll on the inner streets of Junagadh in Gujarat
Their promenade led them past hospitals, schools and houses.

Early on Tuesday morning, a pride of eight lions walked the inner streets of Junagadh, Gujarat along a stretch lined with hospitals, schools, hostels and populated with at least 10,000 people.
The lions came from the nearby Girnar Sanctuary, which has close to 45 lions. Dr Japlan Rupapara, a wildlife conservation expert in Junagadh told the Times of India that lions often came close to residential areas but few have ventured this deep – almost 3.5km – into the city.
Also on Tuesday, there were reports that lions had attacked a man from a shepherd community in Gujarat's Amreli district. Three people have been killed in lion attacks in the in the same district.
As the lion population grows, more of these sightings will occur, Rupapara said. The video above is not the first such occurrence. The videos below show more examples of lions being sighted on Junagadh roads.
